Children in the community helped plan the new park by drawing items they would like in the new park and talking with the designer.  From those discussions and drawings came a zip line, a truck that is DQ on one side (since an ice cream truck was not feasible) and fire truck on the other side, the ever popular swings and tire swing and bridges.

Since the Hancock County Courthouse is a landmark in the region a small scale courthouse is also planned along with a Geode cave as Geode’s were Emily’s favorite rock.

A new addition to the park will be an area specifically designed just for babies.
